Playlists

Overview

Click Playlists in the left navigation to open this section. Every playlist you’ve built appears here as a tile.

The whole page is on the right. It stays there as you read, and moves to each option as it comes up.

Top toolbar

• Total Playlists, top left, shows the total count of playlists on this account.
• What's New is where you can read in depth about the library and playlist folders.
• Publish Requests shows the requests made by the maker to publish or re-publish a playlist to a screen, its own queue, separate from the Library’s. The Maker-Checker permission section walks through this queue end to end.

Sort your playlist

Sort by Created, Sort by layouts and Sort by Screen Count are the three options to sort playlists on this page.

Find a playlist

search playlists ... finds a playlist by name.

Customize your playlist

+ New Playlist takes user to the page to create and edit playlists after entering the name and optional folder detail with description.

Create a folder

+ New Folder creates a new folder in this section.

Folders

Folders count here holds the groups created and the folders created specifically in this section with + New Folder option at top right.

The playlist tile

Every playlist tile carries the same details.

Select a playlist

The box on a tile selects it. Ticking it shows the count of playlists selected at the top in blue.

The ⋮ menu

⋮ opens Duplicate Playlist, Update Playlist, View History and Delete Playlist.

Preview

The thumbnail shows a small preview of the playlist’s content.

Publish

Publish lets you select the screens, then publish the playlist to them.

Edit

Edit opens the playlist to edit it.

Delete

The red bin icon deletes the playlist from here.

Playlist name

Below the buttons is the playlist’s name.

Layouts

The layout count is the total layouts made in that playlist.

Screens

The screen count is the total number of screens that playlist is playing on.

Created date

The date shown is when the playlist was created.
